Today is go-day for the Centauri Publishing Services website! I\u2019ve been looking forward to this day for a long time. I decided years ago that I would work towards becoming a freelance editor, but life, specifically pregnancy and raising an infant, stretched out my timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I handed in my notice at my previous job a few months ago and finished up early in August. It took a little longer than expected to get everything up and running as New Zealand went into sudden lockdown due to a community case of delta variant COVID-19 just as I was planning to start working on the website. Without childcare time management became a bit tricky, but finally the website is presentable. As they say, good things take time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am now taking queries regarding my non-fiction editing<\/a>, fiction editing<\/a>, style sheet<\/a>, and typesetting<\/a> services. I have 12 years of experience editing for a research institute. Before that, I gained a Graduate Diploma in Publishing from Whitireia Polytechnic. As well as editing, I also learned how to typeset, market, and project manage books. I particularly enjoyed the typesetting unit. Over the last few years I haven’t had much opportunity to typeset, but I’m keen to get back into it so that I can offer a novel typesetting service.
